Wallow Within From the first second on, this is intense. It's a raw, brutal Black Metal punch right in the face. I somewhat expected them to slow down at some point or to sprinkle in some synths, but no, it gets worse and worse and worse. This record caught me right from the beginning but sat on my wishlist for at least a year, before I realized how many times I had already listened to it. FFO Mons Veneris, Irae.

Enfin... dans la quasi totalité des cas : le line-up de Shestopyor (qui n'a pour l'instant que cet album au compteur) est en effet inconnu — peut-être pourrais-je rapprocher Shestopyor de la brutalité d'un Musmahhu, mais bon...
Bref, on se trouve ici dans un raw black metal d'une violence franchement exacerbée. Le travail sur le riffing est incontestable et la voix monstrueuse à de quoi retourner le cerveau. Une vilaine claque ! Favorite track: Order of Iniquity.
